Other Mares
Corio Pony Stud has always believed in obtaining mares that have the excellent temperament and conformation to breed top quality and versatile saddle ponies. To this end, we have several brood mares of different blood lines to cross with our resident stallions.
Gayland Karleeta
A chestnut C group mare and previous Supreme Champion winner by Tamcada out of Gayland Bindi Miss and bred by Faye and Ron Pocock of Swan Hill, Victoria. Karleeta was put in foal to Aloha Trinity and the result was indeed something special, producing a beautiful chesnut gelding Corio Monte Karlo.
Galaxy Park Le Reve
A grey C group mare by Richdale Ransom and out of the mare, Chrumelbow. Reve has produced two lovely ponies from our own Corio Ultimate Viktor. The first, Corio Li'l Joe a steel grey gelding born 2002, and the second, Corio Li'l Gem a liver chestnut filly born 2004. Reve has recently given us a stunning bay colt by Aloha Trinity.
Saffron
Pure Arab mare of Kehailen Rodanieh strain.
At Corio Stud we have alway had a love of Pure Arabians as well as our derivatives and the above mare arrived at the Stud in 1983. Saffron is by Sextus out of Saffar. She has given us six purebred foals over the years, from Aloha Stud's Lindall Zeke and Heather Macleans El Serene. She died at the age of 26. We retained all of her fillies, two of which are still with us and have produced some beautiful derivative progeny.

Corio Naarah
A chestnut A group mare by Sidonia Park Cinnabar (Richdale Ransom) and out of our own Corio Yarnah (Aloha Trinity x Corio Catani). She has produce a nice liver chestnut gelding Corio Lexus also by our very own Corio Ultimate Victor and has recently given birth to a lovely chestnut filly.
Corio Mareeba
A liver chestnut purebred mare by Marbach (Imp. iid U.K.) out of Saffron. This lovely mare has gone onto produce herself Corio Marleeka by Talqua Talik and retained by the stud, Corio Rosetta, partbred mare by Aloha Trinity and sold to Queensland and Corio Merinda, partbred mare by Aloha Trinity and retained by the stud.
